Delete your account
This page describes how users of the Consensus Atlas mobile app (developer: as listed on Google Play / App Store) can permanently delete their account and associated personal data.
How to request account deletion (in the app)
Open the Consensus Atlas app and sign in.
Open the Profile tab (bottom navigation).
Tap Delete account.
Enter your username exactly as shown to confirm. If your account uses a password, enter your password when prompted.
Confirm deletion. Your session will end and the account will be removed from our servers.
If you signed in only with Google or Apple and did not set a password, follow the same steps; the app will only ask for username confirmation when no password is required.
What is deleted
Deletion is permanent. We remove your user record and associated data tied to that account, including for example: profile information, uploaded content, albums you own, shares and visibility you controlled, authentication identifiers (including linked OAuth identities), and session / verification tokens.
What may be retained
We do not use your account for advertising profiles. Aggregated or de-identified analytics (if any) are not linked to your account after deletion. Where the law requires retaining certain records (e.g. short-term security or tax logs), those are kept only as required and are not used to restore your app account.
